Support
How to reach us, manage your subscription, or delete your account, plus what to do if you need help right now.
If something isn't working, or you can't find an answer here, email us at support@divorcery.com. A real person reads every message.
It helps if you can tell us what device you're using, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. If something looked wrong on screen, a screenshot is worth a lot.
If you need help right now
Divorcery is not an emergency service, and nobody here can respond in a crisis.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For confidential help any hour of the day, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788, or chat at thehotline.org. If you are Deaf or hard of hearing, or you cannot safely speak out loud, call the Deaf Hotline by video phone at 1-855-812-1001. If you are having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
There is more on the safety resources page: safety planning, keeping a record, protective orders, and when to time technology changes with an advocate's help.
Your subscription
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they're managed in your Apple account rather than in Divorcery.
To cancel: open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Divorcery, and tap Cancel Subscription. Canceling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you keep access until then.
Free trial. New subscribers may get a 14-day trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you won't be charged.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple, under Apple's policies. We have no ability to issue them, so requests need to go through Apple directly.
Restoring a purchase. If you've subscribed before and the app doesn't recognize it (after reinstalling, or on a new device), open Account in the app and tap Restore purchases.
Your account and your data
To delete your account, use the account-deletion flow in the app. Your identity record and stored data are removed when you confirm.
You can also email us at support@divorcery.com and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying who you are. The in-app route is faster.
Most account details can be edited directly under My Profile in the app. For anything you can't change there, email us.
The Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect, where it's stored, and what happens to it when you leave.
A note on what we can help with
We can help with the app: bugs, billing, your account, things that don't behave the way they should.
We can't give legal advice, review your documents, or tell you what to do in your case. For general information, the guides and questions are free and cover most of what people write in about. Divorcery isn't a law firm, and no part of it, including the coach, is a substitute for an attorney who knows your situation and your state's law. For anything that will be signed or filed, talk to a licensed family-law attorney where you live.
